Lets bring the passion to all

Hi! My name is Gabor Gulyas and this is my blog for all the technology enthusiasts coming from all around the globe!

When I was a little kid, my dad came home with a new Commodore 64. He plugged it into the TV, connected it with the cassette player, the joystick. That was the day when my journey in IT has begun!

Since then I have had the opportunity to feel the excitement of web development, building websites where the code you write instantly turns into something visual, something cool, something that you can interact with.

Later a friend of mine introduced me to backend development with PHP. Followed by some basic MySQL tutorials I was able to create my first application that supported authentication and display of dynamic data. At that time, this was a huge milestone for me.

In 2010 with the release of Windows Phone 7 the shift towards Microsoft Technologies has begun for me. In terms of developer technologies of course. Windows Phone at that time was built around Silverlight and C#. I was able to build a backend API using ASP.NET running in an Azure Web App.

3 years have passed and in 2013 I have got a mail from Microsoft Hungary asking me to have a conversation in person. With a single application released on Windows Phone – loved and rated high by many – I have finally been able to become an intern at Microsoft. A dream came true for me, I was a part of Microsoft!

In my two years of internship, I’ve had the opportunity to present at Meetups, universities and go to different conferences. I have met lots of new friends and experts in all areas of IT. In that period of my life I have became even more passionate about IT.

The goals I have set

I have been great at self education in my whole life and I have been learning constantly to improve my knowledge in IT. The passion for this hobby and this profession is what drives me forward. And this passion is what I would like to share with all!

It has never been a better time to be a developer then now! With just a couple lines of code you can reach millions of people all around the world and make them achieve more!

My goal is to share exciting technologies with you that will shape our future! To show you examples on how can you use technology to build something cool! And to show you how can passion turn great ideas into reality!
